'Hip Hop Ruined My Life' is narration of a man who gave everything to be considered as the best in his country, his relationships, his job, his family, friends and ultimately life.

The detriments which were incurred left him telling his stories, begging for change from strangers in a lonely glaswegian street. Falling from the pretentious and aristocratic lifestyle into the delphic depths of sex, poverty, misery and death.

The album follows the chronological stages of a breakdown when dealing with death and dying, as this man quickly finds himself committing to himself to a non existing paper chase, surrendering all quality in life in a desperate bid to be regarded as an asset in his country.

But what are the true psychological detriments of this, could it have been prevented? and how does this stranger know so much about him.
